I was inspired by our newest super trainer Jennifer Jacobs to get a little vulnerable so buckle up…

I signed up to be mentored by one of the bests in Network Marketing - who; lucky ME, also happens to be like my great great grandfather coach!? Anywho - I had an opportunity to be coached 1-1 this week and I went into it, pen in hand READY for the tidbit that would change my business and when I finished explaining my business to the larger group I was hit with this question.

I know we shouldn’t care about other people’s opinions BUT when it come’s to my Virtual Fit Club - other people’s opinions are EVERYTHING to me.

You seem discouraged by your progress. In case anyone hasn’t told you, you pretty much broke your leg in every way possible. It will take time and that’s ok.

My PT said this to me and I kinda broke down a bit. I AM discouraged. I am angry that I’m not able to do all the things that I want to do, that I COULD do just 2 months ago then I get PISSED and play the “WHY DID I GO DOWN THE DAMN SLIDE” game which is super fun. I have been working out since I broke my leg. I HAD to. Movement is my sanity. I have kept it safe and always feeling pretty good (which I know how lucky I am). I would be lying if I didn’t say as the weeks passed I wasn’t really starting to wonder if I’d ever be able to get back to the jumping around my living room, dripping with sweat , kinda workouts.

Is anyone else FASCINATED with seeing what other people eat in a day!? Well I hope so because that’s what’s coming atcha - Breakfast, Lunch, Snack and Dinner!

This month in the B Team Fit Club is all about preparing for a FIT FALL! We allllll know about summer bodies and getting hot for all our summer dates, but we want to build habits + confidence that last all year long! So, welcome to FIT GIRL FALL

Nothing fits a fall side dish better than this Cauliflower Rice and Broccoli Gratin! Traditionally, this side features rice and a cheese sauce that would definitely be a treat. But, some easy veggie swaps make this a dish you can weave into your meal plan, always.

So we are about 3.5 weeks out from being attacked by a slide and my surgery to fix the 3 breaks in my leg. We are also 3 weeks until my boot and PLOT TWIST I am currently stuck on the couch with poison ivy.

So as many of us are CLINGING to August in fear of back to school - I am hoping it goes faster than anything because if everything goes well I am out of a cast and into a boot - read I can put weight on my foot and maybe contribute something other than good looks around here! JK. Kinda.

HOWEVER just because my leg is broken doesn’t mean my coaching bone is? (eh seemed better before I wrote it but I’m sticking with it!). So we actually have a FEW more options than we normally do in August!
