Allow myself to introduce...Myself. 10 Facts About Me!

Hey, What’s Up, Hellooooo 👋🏼 There are a few new faces here so I wanted to take a second and reintroduce myself…

My name is Becky and I am a fitISH, happily married, mom of three that is passionate about living my best life and empowering others to do the same through fitness, nutrition and mindset💫

I am ALL about having fun SO let’s take make this introduction a little 🔟 Facts About Me!

If you relate to any of these holler at me because I am ALL about surrounding myself with other kickAss ladies and gents…

1️⃣ I’m an only child. Hang out with me for more than 5 minutes and I’ve been told somehow this becomes BLATANTLY obvious. And it must be said I don't have any siblings by blood but I have been #blessed in the friends department and they are my family #framily 👭

2️⃣ Ever since I was a little girl I told myself I’d have a family by 30 - I made it...by about 40 days. Why do we set these ridiculous benchmarks for ourselves BUT #winning in this case 🗓

3️⃣I am an athlete.  I work best in a team environment.  I played Basketball, Volleyball and Softball in HS and Softball in college. This could all be cliffnoted by “I made AMAZING friends and drank a LOT of alcohol.” Only in college!  Ok MOSTLY in College - sorry Mom 🍻 I continue to live with this mindset through the B-Team and my virtual bootcamp which is filled with ladies and gents ALSO looking to spend EVERY day getting better - physically and mentally!👭🏻

4️⃣I have anxiety.  I think I've always had anxiety but we’ve had a few extremely hard years since the kids were born and truthfully the coping mechanisms I've used my entire life (working out, alone time, etc) just weren't enough. I am battling every day and I will continue to do so BUT some days are harder than others.

👉🏼4.5 I also have Hashimotos Disease.  (sidenote My husband laughs EVERY time I say this - no it’s not Quazimotos however that is SLIGHTLY funny).  It’s an autoimmune disease that affects your thyroid - my symptoms vary but we’re talking fatigue, dry skin, absentmindedness, extra fluff around the midsection, muscle weakness - all super fun things. #opposite 👎🏼

5️⃣Going back to 2017 sucking - I got Shingles (thanks Stress) and wait for it... it turned into a Staph infection which went into my eye. After a few rounds of steroids we've cleaned up most of the scar tissue - just a little peripheral damage. 💩 gets REAL REAL when there's talk about permanent damage to your eyesight.

6️⃣Speaking of funny - I am legit my own #1 fan.  I think I’m hilarious. #getonmylevel 🤣

7️⃣ I drink WAY more wine then I should.  Listen we all have our vices.  I eat clean 90/10 and I’m a Pinot Girl - Grigio during the day and Noir at night - not the same day/night but ya know what I mean. 🍷🍷

8️⃣ I LOVE working out.  It’s so much more than working out - it’s my SANITY. I love anything that gets that sweat going but Pilates is my true jam.  If I’m teaching in the studio it is either Pilates or Barre. There’s something I just LOVE about using your body weight to kick your own butt🏋🏼‍♀️

9️⃣ My husband is the love of my life.  We met when I was 21 (at a Beerfest over keg rolling. Can’t wait to tell the grandkids) - When I think back on how we got here it blows my mind but I wouldn’t change a single day (ok fine maybe a few) for anything.  He is my better half, my unwavering support system and I don’t know what I would do without him.  No literally I wouldn’t know what to do with myself...you’d find me walking in circles, asking questions into the wind 👫

🔟 We struggled with infertility for years. Emerson and Cullen were Clomid babies and although we were told we couldn’t get pregnant on our own SURPRISE - hereeeeeee’s Ronin (at the ripe ol’ age of 38🤣) My kids are my absolute world.  OH MY GOD are they exhausting but they’re also hilarious, super love-able little mini me’s of me and #mrparker 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 + 👶🏻

So there it is.  I’m happy you’re here and I can’t wait to get to know YOU better too!
