I have found no matter how hard you train - if you're not eating to properly fuel your body you will NEVER have sustainable success. A realization found ONLY once I started eating clean!
Before I really dove into Coaching, I would like to think I knew how to eat "healthy" (I have always been active - even at the collegiate level) however thinking back it was abundantly clear as I got older and the responsibilities of the real world increased, my physical activity became less and things were NOT operating as normal.
I had to make a conscious effort to learn HOW to eat and not just for aesthetic results but I wanted to FEEL as good as I looked. Know what's funny? When you start shifting your mindset away the #s on the scales and in our jeans - you blow past any prior expectations you placed on yourself!
The hubs and I now eat as clean as possible - 80/20 rule in this house - and we LOVE sharing it with YOU!
