Summer of Me

If we’re being honest, up until this point I have always been the person that tries to please everyone.  Translation I give myself a NEVER ENDING to-do list which leaves me SUPER exhausted with a SUPER short fuse.  Know who’s left with that tired and irritable lady - my immediate family / crew.

Here I was giving my BEST self to everyone else but my family was getting me less than half best (And I’m rounding up HAHA).  So I decided this needed to stop IMMEDIATELY.

I have come this far listening to my gut and I refuse to continue to drive on fumes so this year I ask myself the following questions:

  1. Do I WANT to do this?

  2. Would it benefit my current situation?

If the answer to BOTH of these questions is yes; I make it a priority.

Current challenge - the Summer.

I swear we have 1,000 things to do already.  LIKE HOW? We are NOT this popular HAHAH. But the social calendar is out of control, every event seems to be built around booze or food and lack of sleep. #whendidigetsoold

So how do we survive without blowing up like a tick AND STILL enjoy?

We control the controllable and make it the Summer of ME.

Before it really takes off we establish the healthy habits that keep us (relatively) on a schedule - And I GET it, we all have trips, wedding weekends etc.  I won’t NOT do anything because of these events, I want to feel my BEST, AT them, so I will eat as clean as possible, get my sweat on, find some accountability partners and really focus on ME!

And if you’re thinking “Ugh I need that!”  I got YOU.

I have a TON of family friendly recipes, unlimited workout options and a support group that will keep you motivated, accountable and NOBODY cheers you on better than them.

I mean what’s the worst that could happen? Meet a few new #FitFriends, find a soulmate workout, gain some strength and stock up your clean eating recipe arsenal?  Sounds freaking terrible?

Opposite.  Give yourself the summer of YOU and I promise you won’t regret it!
