Personal Development Ain't All About Tree Hugging

You may have heard me talk about personal development as a vital piece of my coaching business, but I want to be clear that I was not always about that self-care life. I would literally tell my coach “I don’t need that tree hugger shit, I’m happy”

WOW. Was I wrong.

Ya live ya learn right? And I’m hoping to save you the time I wasted and make some suggestions because I went from taking 10 minutes a day to read about ways to better my days just wasn’t on my to-do list to now it’s more like 30 mins a day and it’s one of my favorite parts!

And I got to be honest the last book I read cover to cover was Twilight when I was pregnant with Em haha BUT audiobooks are my JAM. While I’m folding laundry, emptying the dishwasher or whatever taking time each day to make a deposit into my confidence bucket is something I would absolutely recommend.

I am currently listening to Super Attractor by Gabby Bernstein and honestly it might be my new fav. She gives tangible steps on how to address the blocks we bring into our lives; comparison, jealousy etc and how to take those emotions and pour that energy into realizing whatever anyone else is doing is proof it’s possible and aligning ourselves with that belief. After a year of missing ALL of the goals I set for my biz and my body (thanks slide) it’s exactly what I needed.
